Who is Sakura Haruno?
Sakura Haruno, a young student at the Leaf Village Ninja Academy, struggled with her self-worth and lacked self-assurance. Her classmates teased her because they thought her forehead was excessively large.
She would constantly put her hair over her forehead to shield herself from some of the bullying she would encounter. Then Ino Yamanaka appears and offers Sakura a bow to wear in her hair so that her forehead won’t be the center of attention.
The two would grow to be great friends, and with Ino’s support, Sakura started to develop her own identity and earn some self-confidence.
Sakura is one of the many characters in the whole Naruto series and stayed in the naruto series from naruto to still going on boruto series.
She is from the leaf village. In the naruto series, she was the only female member of team 7, including the anime series’ main characters, Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha.
Kakashi Hatake is well known Shinobi of the leaf, and almost the whole ninja world knows him as a copy ninja. Kakashi is the sensei and leader of team 7.
Later on, we see that she is head over heels for Sasuke like a few other girls in the class, and also, in the future, it becomes one of the main reasons why people hate Sakura.
Sakura in Chunin Exam
Let’s forward the time a bit to the chunin exam. The first test for Chunin Exam was a written test, and as we know that for every team to pass the chunin exam, all three team members should pass the 1st and 2nd test, and if they pass that test, they will go to the 3rd and 4th and final round of Chunin exam.
As soon as the announcement happens that there will be a written exam in the 1st round of chunin and every person in the team should pass the test.
Team 7 continues a string of unexceptional missions. When Sakura wants to spend time with Sasuke after returning from a mission, he refuses her.
This puts Sakura in a foul mood, which makes her lash out first at Naruto when he tells Konohamaru Sarutobi that he and Sakura are dating, and then at Konohamaru when he criticizes her for hurting Naruto.
The Three Sand Siblings of Sunagakure, who have traveled to Konoha to participate in the Chunin Exams, are drawn to all of this. The Sand Siblings are chased away by Sasuke when he returns, and Kakashi subsequently meets with them to enroll them in the Chunin Exams.
He forgets to emphasize that they must compete as a team since he was afraid Sakura might only enroll because of Sasuke. He is thus relieved when she decides to enter on her own. Sakura is approached by Rock Lee just before the Chunin Exams start.
He invites her to go out with him and pledges to risk his life to keep her safe. Sakura adamantly declines, offended by his long eyelashes, hairdo, and bushy eyebrows.
The participating genin are given a written test with 10 questions for the first phase of the Chunin Exams. Sakura notices from reading the questions that they are too hard for most genin, notably Naruto, to answer without using a cheat code successfully. Sakura can successfully answer the first nine questions on her own.
Genin are informed that if they respond poorly to the tenth question, they would never be permitted to attempt the Chunin Exams again. Instead, Sakura worries that Naruto is too arrogant to attempt an answer and that if he unavoidably chooses the incorrect response, his disqualification would end his aspirations of becoming Hokage.
She’s all set to forfeit on his behalf, but Naruto’s insistence that he must answer the tenth question prompts her to reconsider. Team 7 and the remaining genin advance to the second round for their willingness to answer the tenth question despite the possible penalties.
Sakura The Bookworm
During Chunin Exam and during class, Sakura always got one of the top marks in the class, and everyone knew that she was intelligent.
We saw in the chunin exam that she really almost answered every question and nailed the test, but the test was about not scoring high, but it was about
While she was at the Academy, Sakura received consistently high test scores. Because of her diligence in her studies, Sakura initially struggled in combat situations. For this reason, she was added to Team 7 so that she could benefit from the more battle-oriented Naruto and Sasuke, while in turn, they would benefit from her knowledge.
She was able to answer the written portion of the Chūnin Exams all by herself without needing to cheat, something that genin were not expected to be able to do.
Sakura’s intelligence is nevertheless consistently useful, making her observational enough to guess an opponent’s tactics from a brief scan of the battlefield and pick up on otherwise minor inconsistencies in conversation. Sasuke deemed her analytical skills to be superior to his Sharingan.
She has an excellent memory, able to quickly piece together multiple pieces of information she’s previously come across to form a hypothesis. In actual combat, Sakura frequently relies on misleading her opponents, either by letting them think they’ve outsmarted her so that they lower their guard or by letting them think they’ve defeated her so they will approach her. So she can defeat them with a single punch.
Sakura has fair skin, green eyes, and pink hair. In her youth, she wore her hair as bangs in order to cover her large forehead and fend off her classmates’ calling her Forehead Girl. Ino encouraged her not to do this and wear her hair back instead so that others could see her face.
Later in her Academic career, she let her hair get longer because of rumors that Sasuke was attracted to girls with long hair. During Part I, when she realizes that long hair is a vulnerability in combat situations.
She cuts her hair and keeps it under shoulder length from that point onward, which she sometimes pins up in a ponytail while working. As Sakura gets older, she is noted to become quite attractive, with Jiraiya likening her looks to Tsunade’s own.
As a genin, due to her focus on her studies, Sakura lacked any particular combat skill other than the basic skills she learned in the Academy. This greatly limited her role in missions to the point where she frequently noted how much she relied on her teammates, Sasuke and Naruto.
On one occasion, Shikamaru even stated that she is: “A kunoichi with no particular talent.” Determined to change herself, she undergoes intense training with Tsunade for two-and-a-half years.
Following in her master’s footsteps, others remarked that Sakura would inevitably surpass Tsunade, which became even more apparent when she formed the Strength of a Hundred Seal during the Fourth Shinobi World War.
Two years later, she rose to the rank of jōnin and was capable of single-handily defeating Kido Tsumiki despite the Anbu being empowered by a Tailed Beast Drug. As an adult, Boruto remarked that she was a suitable replacement for Naruto as Hokage.
Chakra Control and Physical Prowess
While Sakura has rarely been seen using taijutsu in Part I, she was able to hold her own against Ino, one of the top students in her class. After Tsunade’s training, Sakura’s taijutsu improved to the point that she could easily destroy several of Sasori’s hundred puppets. As an adult, she could go toe to toe with a Mangekyō Sharingan-wielding opponent like Shin Uchiha.
As seen in Part I, Sakura’s most defining skill was her proficiency in chakra control. The such exact use of her chakra allows her to perform a jutsu with maximum efficiency without wasting much chakra.
Due to this, Kakashi Hatake noted that she is well-suited for genjutsu. While never actually seen using genjutsu, she has frequently been shown to quickly identify when it is being used and release herself or others from it.
By adulthood, due to her skill and intelligence, genjutsu had little to no effect on her, and she was able to break out of even some of the strongest ones with ease.
Because of her training under Tsunade for over two years, her chakra control increased tremendously, becoming a vital part of many of her abilities. Building up chakra into her fists (and infrequently her feet) and releasing it on contact with a target grants her what Naruto constantly refers to as “monstrous strength.”
Her attacks are strong enough to destroy buildings or upend the earth — increasing with a greater release of chakra. She can also use this increase in strength to lift greater mass or free herself from formidable constraints.
Furthermore, she can use the chakra built up in her hands to catch and repel incoming ninjutsu. Likewise, after anticipating an attack, she can send chakra throughout her entire body to nullify the damage of normally lethal blows.
Another objective of Tsunade’s training was to increase Sakura’s available chakra supply to complete the Strength of a Hundred Seal, something that took three years to accomplish.
When the seal is released, Sakura has access to all the accumulated chakra, allowing her to perform techniques of a greater scale than she is normally able to. Among other things, her physical attacks are also enhanced to the point that she could damage Kaguya with one blow, breaking one of her horns off. She can also transfer this chakra to others.
Sakura’s unique mastery of chakra has improved enough to roughly map out entire structures by channeling her chakra through inorganic materials. Doing so allows her to detect threats, traps, and hidden rooms.
By the Fourth Shinobi World War, Sakura could use the Summoning Technique and, like Tsunade, summon the giant slug, Katsuyu. Noted to be incredibly impressive by Hashirama and Shizune, Sakura could have Katsuyu split apart and attached itself to others.
Sakura could remotely monitor many allies simultaneously, healing and replenishing their chakra as needed. Sakura could also use Earth, Water, Yin, and Yang Release. By adulthood, she acquired Fire Release as well.
Sakura has also become skilled in the use of fūinjutsu. Upon contact, she can skilfully implant a cherry blossom-shaped seal on a target. On command, these seals release red chakra threads that completely restrict body movement.
Tsunade’s training mainly aimed to teach Sakura medical ninjutsu, which demanded Sakura’s refined chakra control. As such, Sakura can heal even the most fatal of injuries. Tsunade remarks that her proficiency in healing is exceptionally rare.
When dealing with an enemy with an extremely resistant body, she could combine her chakra-enhanced fists with her medical ninjutsu to heal the resulting damage, eventually killing the affected cells from over-replication.
By releasing the Strength of a Hundred Seal, Sakura can put her body in a state in which it heals itself so that she doesn’t need to stop to treat herself or even be fazed by injury. In the anime, she could perform a highly difficult operation alone to regenerate a missing section of a person’s body.
If healing proves ineffective, Sakura can make incisions in her patients to try and directly treat her patient’s vital organs.
She can also cure those poisoned by extracting the poison from their bodies while simultaneously repairing the damage, something even poison experts like Chiyo cannot do.
To ensure a complete recovery, Sakura can create an effective antidote after analyzing the poison’s contents, even for poisons that Sasori did not believe anyone but himself could make antidotes for.
After Kurama was removed from Naruto, during the war, Sakura was able to prevent Naruto’s death until they were able to reach Minato and eventually save him. Two years after the war, she again saved Naruto from chakra deprivation by pouring her own chakra into him and Kurama, which took her three days.
Her medical expertise also extends to more standard medicine, enabling her to perform autopsies and examine cells with a knowledge of genetics.
She was taught by Tsunade how to make fast-acting sleeping gas and was taught by Shizune how to concoct poisons that, when coated on weapons, could debilitate or paralyze a person with a single scratch.
In the anime, Sakura even created her own version of Military Rations Pills, intended to have more medicinal purposes and be easier to consume. By the time of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, she had also learned the Healing Power Alteration Technique, although it is unknown what this entails. After Naruto became Hokage, Sakura’s skill with medical ninjutsu had increased to the point he made her the head of the medical department.
Kazekage Rescue Mission
Tsunade informs Sakura of Naruto’s return after two-and-a-half years of training. She goes to greet him and is initially glad that he’s back, but is quickly disappointed when he gets back into a competition of Sexy Techniques with Konohamaru Sarutobi.
Kakashi reforms Team 7 with them and gives them another bell test, though, unlike last time, taking the bells from him is the real objective. Kakashi vanishes after the test begins, and Sakura, after determining that he’s nowhere above ground, concludes he’s below ground.
To force him out, she shatters the earth with Cherry Blossom Impact, surprising both Kakashi and Naruto. Despite their improved abilities, neither Sakura nor Naruto are able to get a bell through conventional means, and it is only by Naruto’s threat to spoil the latest Icha Icha book that they are able to lower Kakashi’s guard long enough to take his bells.
While Team 7 tries without success to find a mission to go on that Naruto won’t complain about, word reaches Konoha that Akatsuki has kidnapped Gaara, the Kazekage. Team 7 is sent to Sunagakure to lend assistance in rescuing Gaara.
On their way to Suna, Naruto explains that Gaara was kidnapped because he is the jinchūriki of the One-Tail, just as Naruto is the jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails.
When they reach Suna, they are informed that Kankurō was poisoned by Akatsuki member Sasori in his failed attempt to rescue Gaara and that none of the village’s medics can heal him.
Sakura is able to remove the poison from his body, from which she prepares some antidotes, impressing Chiyo. As they leave to find Gaara, Chiyo, Sasori’s grandmother, ultimately decides to accompany Team 7, helping them navigate the local country.
On their way to the Akatsuki lair where Gaara has been taken, they are met by Itachi Uchiha, the brother who Sasuke defected from Konoha in order to kill.
Although eager to face him, Sakura must leave most of the fighting to Kakashi due to his Sharingan.
When Naruto is trapped in Itachi’s genjutsu, Sakura and Chiyo release him. The Itachi is eventually discovered to be an impostor, so they continue to the Akatsuki lair. They meet Team Guy there, who takes down the barrier over the entrance so that Team 7 can get in.
Deidara flies off with Gaara’s body as soon as they enter, and Naruto and Kakashi pursue him, leaving Sasori to Sakura and Chiyo. Chiyo informs Sakura that what appears to be Sasori is actually one of his puppets, Hiruko.
She also warns that all of Hiruko’s weapons are likely coated with poison. With this in mind, Chiyo guides Sakura to Hiruko unharmed, allowing her to destroy it.
With Hiruko gone, Sasori starts using his human puppet of the Third Kazekage. Although it initially appears no different from a standard puppet. Because Chiyo can fight it with her Mother and Father puppets, the puppet is discovered to have access to the Third’s Iron Sand, which has also been imbued with poison.
The Iron Sand neutralizes the Mother and Father puppets and then forms into blocks, which Sakura, with Chiyo’s guidance again, can punch away. Sasori’s Iron Sand World Method proves more difficult to avoid, and Sakura receives several scratches, causing her to collapse from the poison.
She is able to administer the antidote, however, allowing her to destroy the Third when it moves in to finish her off. Angered by this, Sasori reveals that his own body is a puppet now, and he goes after Chiyo. Sakura intercepts him and destroys his body, but he’s able to reassemble it.
Sasori brings out his Hundred Puppet Army, and Chiyo brings out her Ten Puppet Collection of Chikamatsu. While the two sides battle, Sakura moves closer to Sasori and places a seal on him.
Sasori is able to transfer his living core to another puppet before the seal connects, sneaks up on Chiyo, and attacks. Sakura shields the attack with her body and is both fatally wounded and poisoned. While Chiyo gives her the final antidote, Sasori attacks Chiyo again, only to fall into her trap and have his core stabbed by the Mother and Father puppets.
Chiyo then heals Sakura’s wound. Having guessed that Sakura was able to create an antidote for his poison, something he thought was impossible.
Sasori decides to reward her before he dies: he tells her of a spy within Orochimaru’s ranks who he had plans to meet in Kusagakure in ten days. Chiyo collapses once he’s dead but refuses Sakura’s offer to take her back to Suna to make another antidote.
At Chiyo’s request, Sakura carries her to Naruto and Kakashi, who have managed to retrieve Gaara. Sakura attempts to revive Gaara, but the removal of the One-Tail has caused him to die.
Chiyo uses the One’s Own Life Reincarnation on him, bringing him back to life at her own cost. As the jutsu nears completion, Chiyo warns Sakura not to risk her life to protect someone as old as she is again, believing Sakura is too valuable.
Gaara is successfully resurrected, and, a few days later, Teams 7 and Guy attend Chiyo’s funeral in Sunagakure before returning home.
Tenchi Bridge Reconnaissance Mission
With the intel gained from Sasori, Team 7 begins planning to meet the spy in the hopes that it will help them reunite with Sasuke. Kakashi is left bedridden from his fight with Deidara, requiring Yamato to lead Team 7 as his replacement.
The Konoha Council also requires that Sai be assigned to Team 7 as Sasuke’s replacement. Naruto immediately dislikes Sai, declaring him an inferior version of Sasuke. Sai is happy about this distinction and proceeds to degrade Sasuke for defecting from Konoha.
This angers Sakura, and she hits him, forcing Yamato to use his wood release to break up their fight. Despite this incident, Sakura has difficulty holding a grudge against Sai due to his lack of emotion or interpersonal connections.
She, therefore, tries to mediate between Naruto and Sai, explaining to Sai the brotherly bond that Naruto feels with Sasuke. When this fails to make an impression, Sakura gives up on Sai and puts up with him only because they need his help to find Sasuke.
Yamato disguises himself as Sasori and goes to the Tenchi Bridge to meet the spy while Naruto, Sakura, and Sai hide nearby.
The spy, Kabuto Yakushi, begins telling Yamato about Orochimaru’s organization.
Still, they are interrupted by the appearance of Orochimaru, who teams up with Kabuto to fight Yamato, having intended to kill Sasori.
Team 7 comes to his aid, and Orochimaru, recognizing them, taunts Naruto about Sasuke. Naruto is enraged and strikes him, using the Nine-Tails’ power to make his attacks more devastating.
The Tenchi Bridge starts to collapse from the stress of his chakra, and Sakura is knocked unconscious in the process. She is saved and revived by Yamato and is then horrified by the damage that Naruto is causing to the surroundings.
Orochimaru is eventually able to force Naruto away from himself and closer to Sakura and Yamato. Seeing the lengths he’s going to in order to retrieve Sasuke from Orochimaru, Sakura tries to reason with him, but his version 2 form leaves him unable to tell friend from foe, and he attacks her.
While Yamato restrains Naruto with his wood release, Kabuto heals Sakura’s wound, his thanks to Team 7 for killing Sasori.
Yamato is able to suppress the Nine-Tails’ influence, but its chakra leaves his body badly damaged.
She tries his best to Sakura save naruto but is upset that it’s the only thing she can do to help him. When Naruto wakes up, he can’t remember what happened and assumes Sakura’s tears are because of something Sai said, which she doesn’t correct.
After taking a break when Sakura’s wound starts hurting, she tells Naruto her wound was caused by Orochimaru.
While Sakura works on healing herself, Yamato tells Naruto the truth. When they realize that Sai is missing, Yamato reports that he has joined Orochimaru and Kabuto.
Having placed a trace on Sai, Yamato is able to lead Naruto and Sakura to him and, by extension, Orochimaru’s lair.
They infiltrate it, locate Sai, and restrain him so they can look for Sasuke.
Kabuto finds them and releases Sai to help him fight them, but Sai restrains him instead, curious about the bond that Naruto keeps saying he has with Sasuke; Sai goes searching through Orochimaru’s lair in search of Sasuke on Naruto’s behalf.
While he’s gone, Yamato goes through his belongings and finds evidence that Sai has been assigned to assassinate Sasuke. They go after him in order to stop him. When they find him, he explains that he truly does want to help retrieve Sasuke and, in fact, has already found him: Sakura and Naruto are speechless to see Sasuke again, but Sasuke reacts with indifference to them.
To demonstrate that they mean nothing to him, Sasuke quickly neutralizes them all, except Sakura, who prepares to attack him. Sasuke is about to counter her attack before Yamato saves her.
He then prepares to kill them but is persuaded not to by Orochimaru and leaves without further comment. Defeated, a tearful Sakura tells a devastated Naruto they need to get stronger, and Team 7 returns to Konoha.
Five Kage Summit
Sakura informs Naruto that Tsunade is in a coma and that there’s nothing that can be done to bring her out of it. While they talk, they are approached by Tazuna and Inari, who have come to help rebuild Konoha.
They ask about Sasuke, whom Naruto avoids going into detail about to spare them, and Sakura discusses Sasuke’s defection. After Tazuna and Inari leave, they receive news that Danzō Shimura has become the next Hokage and that he has ordered Sasuke to be killed as a traitor.
Naruto and Sakura approach Sai to ask him how they can convince Danzō to change his mind, but Sai is unable to help.
Omoi and Karui of Kumogakure overhear them talking about Sasuke, and they ask for information about Sasuke, wishing to kill him for his role in Akatsuki’s capture of Killer B.
This news upsets Sakura greatly to the point of tears, so Naruto leads Omoi and Karui away to spare her further distress. In the anime, while watching over a comatose Tsunade, Shizune confirms what she heard about Sasuke working with Akatsuki.
This again left Sakura on the verge of tears, hoping that Tsunade would awaken soon so the situation with Sasuke could be resolved.
Sai later informs Sakura of the abuse Naruto suffered at the hands of Omoi and Karui, as he was unwilling to sell out Sasuke.
He also informs her that Naruto has gone to meet with the Fourth Raikage to try and get a pardon for Sasuke’s actions against Kumo.
Sakura cannot understand why Naruto would do all this, so Sai explains how he believes it is because he has feelings for Sakura and is still trying to fulfill the promise he made to her after Sasuke left the village years ago, which devastated her.
Sai adds that his commitment to that promise and, by extension Sakura cause Naruto as much pain as Sasuke does. Shikamaru joins their conversation to inform them of the rest of the Konoha 11’s decision to personally eliminate Sasuke so that he can’t continue to implicate Konoha in his crimes nor present the risk of war.
Sakura tearfully agrees with this and insists on being the one to inform Naruto. She also made the others swear not to say anything to Naruto before she could, seeing it as her responsibility, while secretly, she decided to handle the entire matter herself.
She proceeds to where Sasuke is and announces her desire to join him, even if that means helping destroy Konoha.
Kakashi arrives in time to stop him and, aware of what Sakura was planning, volunteers to be the one to kill Sasuke so that she won’t need to, especially when he holds himself responsible for not preventing the situation as his teacher.
Sakura heals Karin’s injury and joins the battle in her unstable mental state. She starts attacking Sasuke from behind but ultimately can’t bring herself to harm him and cries at her own failure. Sensing her, Sasuke grabs her by the throat, takes her kunai, and prepares to kill her with it, but Naruto saves her.
When he attempts to detain them on Kakashi’s instructions, Kiba and Lee engage Sai, giving Sakura a chance to use the sleeping gas.
Sakura then uses an antidote to wake Sai, Kiba, and Rock Lee up. After returning to the village, Naruto meets with the Konoha 11 as soon as they’re back to tell them his decision, which Sakura defends when some of them accuse Naruto of being unrealistic but is concerned about Naruto and Sasuke’s promise to fight the death.
When Tsunade finally wakes from her coma, Sakura goes around the village sharing the good news. In the anime, Sakura is later informed of the upcoming war against Akatsuki from Tsunade. While uneasy about fighting against Sasuke, Sakura is tasked with keeping a watchful eye on Naruto during the war.
So now, let’s talk about a few good facts about Sakura. If this bores you
Immune To Genjutsu
Chakra control is one skill Sakura was very good at. Compared to Naruto and Sasuke, Sakura always had superior control of her chakra. Kakashi often praised her for being able to manage her chakra flow.
Tsunade educated Sakura about medical ninjutsu and combat when she took her under her wing. Sakura improved her chakra control as a result of the exercise. She was able to manage her chakra and develop genjutsu immunity. She was able to block some of the most powerful genjutsu successfully.
Became A Mother
While they were both still enrolled at the Academy, Sakura fell in love with Sasuke. She was ecstatic to learn that Team 7 would include Sasuke, and she was going to be a part of it. Sakura’s love for Sasuke grew with time, but she was heartbroken when he left the town.
Sasuke killed individuals while he prowled the streets for a while. It was an extremely brave move on his part to even assault the Five Kage.
Sakura still admired Sasuke in spite of his poor reputation. Many viewers admired Sakura’s acceptance of Sasuke despite his horrible crimes when she married him after the series came to an end.
Konoha hospital Head
Because combat was more important to Naruto and Sasuke, they concentrated on their training and power-ups. Although Sakura lacked any unique skills, she couldn’t afford to wait around while the other two put in so much training.
Sakura received instruction from Tsunade to get additional medical-ninjutsu knowledge. She was fortunate to have access to the greatest medical ninja alive to teach her. Throughout the Fourth Great Ninja War, Sakura saved numerous lives as a result of her training.
She was named the head of the Hidden Leaf’s medical department once the series came to an end.
Became A Jonin
Only one member of Konoha 11 had attained the rank of Jonin when Naruto Shippuden first debuted, and that person was Neji Hyuga. Part two began when Sakura was still a Chunin. Although she had made progress, she had a long way to go.
Sakura didn’t succeed in becoming a jonin till the series was over. It’s unclear precisely when she converted to Jonin, although it happened after the conflict.
Fans who expected to see Naruto and Hinata get together were disappointed by The Last: Naruto the Movie. Toneri, who planned to marry Hinata and use the Tenseigan to wipe out the earth, left with her.
When Naruto attempted to stop Hinata, Toneri seriously injured him. Naruto believed Hinata no longer loved him when he awoke. Naruto was only able to dismiss his concerns and overcome Toneri as a result of Sakura’s confidence.
Opened A Mental Health Clinic
People’s lives all throughout the world were severely affected by the Fourth Great Ninja War. Children suffered the most during the conflict, and they had a difficult time recovering from the trauma.
Sakura and Ino Yamanaka made the decision to start a clinic that would assist the kids with their stress during Sakura Hiden. This clinic would evaluate children’s health and aid in their trauma recovery. It is, without a doubt, one of Sakura’s greatest successes.
Sent To Blood Prison
Sakura was included in a number of novels since she was one of the primary protagonists. Sakura was assigned an important task at Kakashi Hiden. She was a member of Konoha’s team that was dispatched to Blood Prison to prevent a possible escape.
They had to go to work as soon as the squad arrived. The passengers who were ejected off the Tobishachimaru were collected with assistance from Sakura and company. Sakura rushed to the accident site after Tobishachimaru crashed to treat the survivors.
Fought Shin Uchiha
A new bad guy was preparing to wreak havoc even after the conflict was done. It was none other than Shin Uchiha, a former test subject for Orochimaru. Shin destroyed his relationship with Orochimaru and departed because he was so fixated on Itachi Uchiha.
It was necessary for the Konoha ninja to act. Sakura Haruno was one of the ninjas that battled Shin Uchiha; Shin proved to be one of Sakura’s toughest opponents.
Destroyed Her House
Sakura had temperamental problems, and she demonstrated this throughout the entire series. She makes an effort to maintain composure, but occasionally she loses it totally and does something she’ll come to regret.
During a conversation between Sakura and Sarada in Boruto, Sakura insulted her mother. Because Sakura didn’t like the inquiries, she became irate and ultimately destroyed her home. The worst part is that she still hadn’t repaid the money.
Part Of Ino-Saku-Sai
After the war, Sakura had a serious shock. Kakashi tasked Sakura, Sai, and Ino with looking into specific instances involving Sasuke. Sasuke was allegedly attempting to destroy neighboring towns, according to the rumors. Ino gave the group the moniker Ino-Saku-Sai.
Unfortunately, Sakura was abducted during the expedition, and Ino, Sai, and Naruto were the only ones who managed to save her.
So now let’s get back to Who is Sakura Haruno and why she is not a loser?
Sakura Doesn’t Have Sarada’s Umbilical Cord
Some parents keep anatomical keepsakes of their children, like locks of hair from their first haircut or their first lost tooth as they start to grow up. One that mothers sometimes keep symbolizing the bond between them and their child is the umbilical cord after giving birth. Sakura, however, doesn’t have hers from the birth of Sarada.
Instead, Sasuke’s former teammate Karin has it. That’s because Karin kept it as a reminder that she’s also bonded to the family. When Sakura went into labor with Sarada, Karin was present and helped deliver the baby.
Sakura’s Genetics Allow Her To Use Chakra
While it’s pretty commonly known that ninjas in Naruto use chakra – spiritual energy present in real-world martial arts and mythologies – to perform superhuman acts and mystical attacks, few people in the Naruto universe are actually able to use these abilities.
Everyone in the world of Naruto possesses a chakra network in their body, and it acts similarly to a nervous system. Still, few characters have advanced enough to learn these incredible techniques.
Sakura is one of the few people in the world who has a large enough chakra reserve and a developed enough chakra network to use the energy to enhance her physical strength, command the elements, and heal others and herself with ninjutsu.
Sakura Resists Different Poisons
She is virtually completely resistant to poisons and alcohol, continuing the weirdly pervasive tradition of heroes having an exceptionally high metabolic tolerance to intoxicants. According to trivia from Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, the pink-haired kunoichi is mostly unaffected by drugs.
Alcohol is utterly useless against her, much like Captain America from Marvel Comics and Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece. This feature of her body is quite helpful because many attackers in Naruto use poison haze or weapons dipped in venom to surprise and harm defenseless opponents.
Although it could be a little more difficult to have a good night out, the immunity to dangerous chemicals is completely worthwhile.
Sakura Looks Nothing Like Her Parents
The character designs of Sakura’s parents when they ultimately emerged in the movie Road To Ninja: Naruto The Movie stunned many devoted fans of Naruto. They don’t have especially intriguing or appealing designs and don’t resemble their daughter.
They don’t have her eye shape, turquoise eyes, or pink hair. Sakura’s appearance may begin to resemble one or both of her parents as she ages, although that is unlikely given that she is still a young to mid-thirties woman with her own unique style.
Sakura Is More Comfortable In A Baby Heel
Sakura is typically shown as being a centimeter taller than she actually is due to the heels she wears, according to Company Pierrot. This animation studio created every episode of Naruto Shippuden.
This implies that Sakura spends the whole second half of the Naruto series defeating absurdly powerful foes and pulling off superhuman feats while donning baby heels.
This detail is indeed somewhat inconsequential, and it may simply be the animation crew catering to fans who are inquisitive about Sakura’s appearance. Still, it’s also a lot of fun to see Sakura kicking, but while dressed to the nines and donning the shoes, she feels most at ease in.
Sakura’s Chakra Enhances Her Strength
Sakura is referred to throughout Naruto by other characters as possessing a degree of physical power that is uncommon in this world.
That’s because she has the somewhat unique ability to use her chakra to directly boost her muscles, which in turn enhances her physical assaults.
Sakura is a ninja who can destroy something with just her fists, unlike most ninjas in Naruto who must transform their bodies to create energy blasts.
The young woman’s tremendous power greatly blindsided the puppet master at the start of Naruto Shippuden, making this skill very helpful in her battle with Sasori.
Her unique and hidden ability to rapidly increase her physical prowess is a cornerstone of her fighting style and a visual treat when she participates in a battle.
Sakura’s Tattoo Magnifies Her Powers
At the conclusion of Naruto and during Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Sakura gets a diamond-shaped tattoo on her forehead as a tribute to her instructor Tsunade and a secret method to significantly improve her skills.
She gave a small bit of chakra to the tattoo every day until she decided to release it all at once, turning it into a seal that held a tremendous amount of energy.
This increases her strength and ninjutsu while also enabling her to instantly heal her own wounds and treat the wounds of others.
This power briefly makes Sakura one of the series’ strongest characters, and this undiscovered aspect of her anatomy has the power to transform loss into triumph swiftly.
Sakura Is Proficient In Both Earth And Water Techniques
Naruto’s ninjas undergo extensive training to develop their ability to shape-shift their chakra into various elements. Anybody may employ a technique that corresponds to one of the five fundamental elements, but not everyone can make the most of an element.
Sakura can completely employ earth- and water-based techniques, unlike other characters who can only fully utilize one element.
Sakura’s command of two elements is a great asset to her fighting skills because it’s unusual for one individual to have an affinity for numerous elements in Naruto.
She may not be able to mix the elements like some other characters in the game, but this unnoticed aspect of her anatomy proves to be helpful in combat.
Sakura’s Forehead Is Legendary
Sakura’s forehead is particularly large for a character shown in Naruto’s highly distinctive visual aesthetic. She used to be rather insecure about this trait when she was younger, but her buddy Ino was able to help her get over it.
However, after the two started to compete, Ino would make fun of Sakura’s wider forehead and refer to it as a “billboard brow.” She still possesses one of the largest foreheads in the whole series, if not the biggest, even though her massive forehead is highlighted less and less as the story progresses.
As the plot becomes increasingly serious and grandiose, this understated keeping of this position is amusing and serves as a lovely reminder of the series’ sillier beginnings.
Sakura Makes For A Great Puppet
At the start of Naruto Shippuden, Sakura and the veteran ninja Chiyo engage in combat with the villainous puppeteer Sasori. Chiyo, who is also a puppeteer, connects chakra threads to Sakura and uses her as a human puppet to fight the evil ninja. At first, Sakura is horrified by the bad ninja’s horrifying and lethal puppets.
Sakura is an excellent puppet because of her extraordinary strength, tremendous endurance, and chakra sensitivity, which enables her to respond quickly to any order. Even though she finally faces the puppet master alone, her strikes are very potent when combined with Chiyo.
This opening battle in Naruto Shippuden does a wonderful job of establishing the series’ evolving power structure and showcasing one of Sakura’s numerous untapped abilities.
Sakura Can Turn Her Hands Into Scalpels
Sakura can make her hands perform a similar function to a surgical knife, although she cannot convert her hands into surgical tools in the literal sense. She has the ability to almost spew chakra from her palms and fingers, focusing her energy on an unbelievably sharp sword.
This chakra scalpel is adaptable enough to be used as a weapon in combat with an opposing ninja while still being accurate enough to operate on a patient without the aid of any other instruments.
This ninjutsu is incredibly useful, lethal, and capable of taking an adversary completely by surprise. Sakura is even more deadly because of her ability to transform a narrowly averted karate chop into a powerful hit.
Sakura Is A Genius
Shikamaru gets much of the attention in the Naruto series when it comes to intelligence, but Sakura is a proven genius. She had the greatest exam results in her class when she left the ninja academy, and in a very short period of time, she had mastered medical ninjutsu. She also managed to pass the Chunin Exams written test without resorting to cheating.
This is especially notable because the test was intentionally made such that cheating would be required to pass because the typical young ninja would have a difficult time answering the questions. While literary smarts aren’t everything in Naruto, they do help Sakura outpace her rivals, and she is by far one of the sharpest characters on the program.
Sakura’s Endurance Isn’t The Best
Everyone has a weakness, and Sakura’s is her relatively low level of stamina. Most of her official numbers increase dramatically throughout the course of the series, but stamina is still one of her weaker qualities.
The chakra seal tattoo on her forehead helps to some extent to counteract this weakness, but without it, she can’t battle for too long without tiring out.
Sakura’s weaker constitution forces her to end battles fast, which is why the majority of her punches are swift and forceful. Although her little chakra is undoubtedly a weakness, it resulted in one of the most distinctive and visually stunning combat techniques in the Naruto series.
Sakura Has An Affinity For Sweet Foods
Sakura has substantial training in medicine and health, which makes her preference for extremely sweet, syrupy cuisine rather surprising. Some of her favorite dishes are red bean dumplings drenched in syrup, umeboshi, a type of sweet pickled plum, and anmitsu, a fruit-and-jelly dessert.
Although each of these dishes is great when had in moderation, it’s difficult to see someone consuming this type of sweet cuisine on a regular basis without growing bored. Although Sakura has absolutely no interest in spicy cuisine, people often remark that variety is the spice of life.
It’s kind of amazing that this battle-tested, juvenile soldier still favors desserts above any other type of meal, even if her innate affinity for sweet foods may seem inconsequential.
Sakura Might Have Split Identities
When Sakura displays a viewpoint that doesn’t align with her genuine values during the course of Naruto, particularly in the series’s earlier sections, the show will cut to her “inner Sakura.”
At the beginning of the series, Sakura frequently makes up stories about how she is feeling and what she thinks in order to be likable and maintain her more courteous demeanor.
However, when the young lady seized Sakura’s body during the Chunin Exams, her inner Sakura persona was strong enough to fight Ino. Even if Inner Sakura is unlikely to return in the anime very soon, the contrast between what she says and what she really believes is always entertaining.
Sakura Can Memorize Information And Patterns Easily
Sakura’s hobbies include playing trivia games and studying medical facts relevant to her work as a medical ninja, akin to an army medic in real military groups.
These more odd pastimes support Sakura’s innate capacity to pick up information, remember it, and recognize patterns.
It also demonstrates how diligent she is since, even in her leisure time, she studies potentially life-saving information that may be crucial in an emergency.
Through these interests, Sakura is maximizing her innate memory skills, expanding her general knowledge, and better preparing herself to help her comrades in case of injury.
Sakura Can Pull Poison From Someone
The villainous puppet master Sasori poisons Kankuro, a puppet ninja, early on in Naruto Shippuden. Before Sakura cuts a hole in his belly and uses chakra manipulation to draw a significant amount of poison through the wound and into her palm, his death seemed all but certain.
This makes it simpler for her to examine the poison and significantly raises a patient’s probability of surviving by reducing the poison’s effects.
The anime uses Sakura’s skill to show how much she has developed over the course of the time gap between Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, as well as how valuable it is for her medical profession.
Sakura Can Increase Her Cell Division
In a manner similar to how she utilizes her chakra to increase her physical power momentarily, Sakura is able to further amplify her body’s inherent talents by releasing the chakra seal on her forehead.
Sakura has the power to utilize chakra to control each and every cell in her body, causing them to divide at an accelerated rate. She is able to fight or save her friends while recovering instantly from wounds that would normally be deadly.
But like her instructor Tsunade, if she uses this technique too often, it would decrease the life of her cells and make her age quickly. One of Sakura’s most potent abilities, this one comes with a price that is more severe than virtually any other.
Sakura Excels At Hand Signs
Sakura develops during the course of the Naruto series in almost every metric used to assess a ninja’s aptitude. However, she consistently receives a score of four in each assessment for her ability to rapidly and precisely generate hand signals, which is required to execute a ninja technique.
It’s strange that her skill in this area doesn’t improve over time, given that quick, accurate hand movements are required to carry out operations and other treatments in the medical sector.
Sakura, however, appears to have only recently hit her maximal skill in hand signals given that her four out of five scores are already greater than most other characters in the series.
Sakura Can Heal Through Slugs
Many characters in Naruto have the ability to call out an assortment of strange and unusual animals to help them in combat or in their daily lives.
Sakura may call out a huge slug to fight with her or help her heal her comrades after receiving instruction from Tsunade.
Katsuyu is the name of the big slug, and she has the power to split into several smaller replicas of herself, forming a hive mind of thousands of slugs.
The injured ninjas can then attach themselves to these slugs so Sakura can heal them by channeling her energy through them.
Sakura utilizes this method at the conclusion of Naruto to save a great number of lives during the Fourth Shinobi War, despite the fact that it may be a slimy and disgusting way to heal from wounds.
Sakura Is In Great Shape Even In Boruto
When Sakura and Sasuke were both in their early twenties, they were married or at least started a committed relationship. Sakura must be at least in her early to mid-thirties because their daughter in Boruto is presently twelve years old. But she doesn’t appear to be much older than her mid-twenties.
It’s amazing that she doesn’t appear the slightest bit run down or exhausted after dealing with several injuries, bearing a kid, and managing the mental strain of surviving numerous close calls.
Because of her excellent genes, she appears to be able to endure all of these challenges and preserve her youthful appearance as she approaches this stage of her life.
So that’s all for Sakura Haruno. Now that you know who she is as a character and what she has done in the past with Naruto—things that were truly bad—you can understand why Sakura is not a loser. However, as a human, you can never tell or make someone fall in love.
You can categorically claim that Sakura is not any looser in that sense because we also saw that she ultimately married Sasuke and became his wife.
As two close friends, Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura had a wonderful friendship in Boruto, and we learn that she is one of the reasons Naruto and Hinata were able to be married because Sakura pushed Hinata to express her feelings for Naruto.
She continues to be despised for how she handled Naruto and how easily Sasuke took her in, but in the end, it was also evident that many more girls than Sasuke came to like Naruto.
I really like the character of Sakura in boruto the next generation. Sometimes she looks cool and way better looking the naruto series.
