What is the Story Covered in Seraph of the End Seasons 1 & 2?
Covering the post-apocalyptic time, the first season revolves around a fictional universe and Yuichiro Hyakuya. He is an orphan- he lost his parents in young age and lived in Hyakuya Orphanage.
Suddenly, they got stuck in a man-made virus just like the current COVID-19 pandemic, which caused the assassination of almost all humans above 13 years. This virus’s only target was to end humanity, leaving behind vampires and demons to rule the world.
Still, the children were mourning for their dear ones’ death, vampires decided to appear in the real world from underground and rule over remaining humanity by enslaving them.
Even after four years of this pandemic, Earth is still ruled by vampires. Now, Yuichiro and his mates from the orphanage have grown up and started to live their life where vampires were the superior race.
But, Yuichiro Hyakuya was different from his friends. He wanted to kill all the vampires instead of doing a surrender in front of them. Reclaiming Earth from vampires was his only motive.
What Mikaela Hyakuya planned?
Mikaela Hyakuya, Yuichiro’s fellow orphan, was not into Yui’s plan to fight a battle against the vampires. Instead, he had a different plan.
Mikaela believes that it is better to use cunningness to survive and avoid facing vampires. Somehow, he manages to gain high-ranking vampires’ trust and gets to know some internal information concerning secrets of the underworld.
He thought to use this information and escape the vampires’ underground territory and return to Earth’s surface. But with hard luck, the vampire officers catches him, and he and his fellow orphan, Ferid Bathory, both gets massacred.
Fortunately, Yuichiro escapes and saves himself from the slaughter and finds his way back to the Earth’s surface. There he joins the Moon Demon Company of the Imperial Demon Army militant organization.
This organization works hard to destroy the vampires and free humanity from enslavement. As more years pass by, Yuichiro stays focused on his goal to take revenge on vampires who killed his loved ones.
A plot twist happens when Yuichiro meets Mikaela again and finds that he is a vampire. Now, he becomes stronger in assassinating all the vampires because his dearest friend became his enemy. Let’s see what happens in Season 3.
