What is the Tideland series all about?

Tidelands Season 2

The first season depicts about Orphelin Bay. It is invaded by Tideland species.

Now you might be thinking, who are tidelanders?

Tideland species were a group of Minacious people who are half-human and half-sirens. These characters generally appear in Greek Mythology. Sirens are the dangerous creatures in the sea that has melodious voice and music.

They use their voice and music to allure the sailors and then killing them for feeding on them. It may appear like a dangerous mermaid that feeds on human flesh!

In the first season itself, 5 people went missing from the Bay. It is speculated that tidelanders were the ones behind these 5 deaths.

In the first season, Cal McTree was left alone after her brother Augie and lover Dylan was harmfully injured by Adriella, the tidelander.

Some parts of the first season also make it clear that Cal herself is half-siren and half-human. She can become the queen of tidelanders if she defeats Adrielle.

At the end of the first season, somehow, Cal manages to destroy and defeat Adrielle. Hence, she is the next queen of Tidelanders. Even after Adrielle’s defeat, tidelanders came to recognize Cal as their queen on the beach itself!
